We've been working with Athena Glasgow Women and Girls Academy in supporting their governance, finances and capacity.

At Club Development Solutions, we’re passionate about helping sports clubs unlock their full potential – and we’re thrilled to share another success story!

Over the past week, we supported our client Athena Glasgow Women and Girls Academy in securing a £1,000 grant to boost their fantastic work in women’s and girls’ football.

This achievement is the latest milestone in a partnership that has been developing over the past couple of years.

Together, we’ve helped Athena Glasgow to:

• Establish a charitable two-tier SCIO

• Register for Google for Non-Profits (including a standardised club-wide email system and access to Google Grants)

• Register with HMRC to claim Gift Aid on donations and qualifying membership fees

• Complete and submit their first annual return to OSCR

• Attract funding to strengthen their core activities – supporting women and girls in football
